IPECON is the international programme of the New Zealand Nature Institute, a non-government, non-profit organization1 active in conservation in New Zealand since 1994 and registered as international NGO2 in Mongolia since 2003.
Who we are We are an international team of conservation and development practitioners. Our core competencies are in the fields of rural livelihoods and biodiversity conservation.
Our focus is on sustainable protected area management - on parks and people.

We recognize the need for participatory, people-centered, and process oriented approaches to achieve sustainable results for livelihoods and resource management.
